Individual Psychotherapy
Insight + nervous system work for people who are tired of overthinking, overgiving, and feeling disconnected from themselves.
What You’ll Build
Greater self-understanding and self-compassion
Awareness of patterns contributing to anxiety, overthinking, and overwhelm
Practical tools for navigating stress and difficult emotions
Greater connection with your body and its signals
More clarity around your needs, limits, and boundaries
Confidence communicating and advocating for yourself
A stronger sense of what feels authentic and meaningful to you
Life will still be stressful. The difference is having a better understanding of what’s happening and more ways to support yourself through it.
What We’ll Work On
You may look like you’re doing fine from the outside, but internally, things feel harder than they used to. Your mind is always working, your body may feel tense or disconnected, and you’re tired of overthinking, pushing through, or wondering why everything seems so difficult.
Maybe you’ve already done your research or been to therapy. You understand anxiety, ADHD, Autism, neurodivergence, trauma, burnout, or the nervous system. But understanding yourself is only part of the process. You also want to know what to do with that understanding.
What if you understood
yourself differently?
Psychotherapy with me is about moving from “What’s wrong with me?” toward “What makes sense about me, and what do I need now?”
Together, we’ll explore the patterns in your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and body, while considering how your history, environment, and neurotype have shaped the way you move through the world.
The goal isn’t to turn you into a different person. It’s to help you understand yourself deeply enough to make choices that actually fit you.
Psychotherapy Investment
Your care, your options
I believe you should have a clear understanding of the financial side of therapy before deciding whether we’re a good fit.
Insurance
I am currently in-network with Aetna and Premera. If you have one of these plans, I can bill your insurance directly, and your out-of-pocket cost will depend on the benefits and cost-sharing requirements of your specific plan.
If you have another insurance plan, I can provide documentation to support out-of-network claim submission after our sessions. Whether your plan provides out-of-network reimbursement, and how much it reimburses, depends on your individual policy. You can contact your insurance company directly to ask about your out-of-network mental health benefits.
Insurance benefits vary by plan. I recommend contacting your insurance company before beginning therapy to confirm your mental health benefits, deductible, copay or coinsurance, and whether your plan has any authorization requirements.
Private Pay
My private-pay rate is $185 for a 53-minute psychotherapy session.
If you are using out-of-network benefits, you will pay the session fee directly and I can provide the documentation you need to submit your claim to your insurance company.
I’m happy to help you understand the process of submitting claims, but your insurance company determines your eligibility, reimbursement, deductible, and other coverage details.
Connect
Start by reaching out for a 15-minute consultation. We’ll talk about what you’re looking for, answer questions, and see if working together feels like a good fit.
Understand
If we decide to move forward, we’ll begin with an intake where we’ll get to know you, your history, current challenges, and what you’d like to be different. Together, we’ll identify goals to guide our work.
Grow
We’ll meet consistently for 53-minute sessions, using conversation, cognitive tools, somatic practices, reflection, and practical strategies to support meaningful change.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Most clients meet weekly or every other week, depending on their needs, goals, availability, and what makes sense for our work together. We’ll determine a cadence collaboratively and can adjust it over time.
-
There isn’t a predetermined number of sessions. Some people benefit from a shorter period of focused work, while others want ongoing support as they navigate different seasons of life. We’ll regularly check in about your goals and whether the work continues to feel useful.
-
No. While both incorporate cognitive and somatic approaches, they are designed for different needs.
Psychotherapy is an ongoing therapeutic relationship where we can work with current concerns, life experiences, relationships, patterns, and mental health symptoms over time.
The Guided Therapeutic Immersion is a structured, 16-week experience designed for people who want a focused deep dive into self-understanding, psychoeducation, and developing an individualized toolkit.
If you’re not sure which is the better fit, we can talk about that during your consultation.
-
No. You don’t need a specific diagnosis to work with me.*
I work with people who are diagnosed, people who are exploring whether neurodivergence may help explain their experiences, and people who simply recognize that traditional ways of understanding themselves haven’t quite fit.
We can start with curiosity rather than certainty.
*Insurance companies require a diagnosis to be identified for treatment to be covered. Private pay clients are not bound by the same requirement.
-
Yes, when it feels appropriate and useful for you.
Our work may include noticing physical sensations, body-based awareness, breathing, grounding, gentle movement, or other somatic practices. You don’t need to have previous experience with this, and you don’t have to force yourself to connect with your body in a particular way.
Somatic work doesn’t require you to meditate, close your eyes, or do anything that feels uncomfortable or unhelpful.
We’ll find approaches that fit you, and there are many ways to work with the mind-body connection.
-
That’s exactly what the consultation is for.
A 15-minute consultation gives us an opportunity to talk about what you’re looking for, answer questions, and get a sense of whether my approach fits what you need. There’s no pressure to decide on the spot.
